Not so wealthy Chongqing downtown
February 26, 2008 – 8:55 pmAfter my two posts about Chinese food here and here, it’s time to show a picture of a Chinese downtown, because apart from food the Chinese high buildings are really impressive and worth a post. Today’s picture of a Chinese downtown comes from Chongqing.
Although Chongqing is quickly rising, its wealth is not. This picture was taken in Chongqing downtown. One might think there is much wealth in Chongqing downtown as it is so huge, however that is far from the truth. While great efforts are being made, here is a more realistic Chongqing downtown picture :
Chongqing and Chengdu both are said to be the home of hotpot, which I really like.
Although Chongqing is quite huge, the living standard the is far below Chengdu. If You can choose between Chengdu and Chongqing, You should go for Chengdu.
