I got banned

March 15, 2008 – 6:39 am

Finally, after 1 week in mainland China, my blog got banned here in China. I can still use it through a proxy. I wonder why. I know I’m a critical person, but then I always try to find the positive side of something.

Writing though a proxy is not very convenient, as the integrated editor in my blog only partly works. At the same time it’s way slower. I have to see how I manage to write more. At the moment I can’t even upload a picture, which is the most annoying thing. Maybe there is a workaround.

Update:

A few days later I got unbanned again. Seems the problem was on the internet company’s side.

  2. Are you talking about this blog? I can visit it without a proxy…

  3. Really? I cannot access this blog without a proxy from my home here in Kunming.

I’ll go to a Internet cafe tomorrow and check there…. I have some kind of suspicion what’s happening here. We will see.

Hi everyone! I'm interested in the Chinese speaking world and here I write about it. Currently in Europe, but soon back in Asia ;)
