Baidu: We feel deeply guilty

China’s government is getting hyperactive once again, this time it wants to remove porn from the internet. Bad porn! Go away! The Chinese government announced quite a while ago, that websites have to remove any material that could be viewed as immoral, for example: human beings having sex. Yeah, that would be such immoral thing! A lot of websites removed their stuff, others didn’t. The most notable among those who didn’t were the search engines. So the Chinese government wants to kick their dirty asses as well. A few days ago 19 well known companies received letters to remove any porn from their websites. They should remove any links leading to porn. Among the warned websites names like Google and Baidu can be found. Shortly after, this week to be exact, Baidu felt the urge to speak out: “We feel deeply guilty.” (as translated by Reuters). Well, makes totally sense. Sexuality is total inhuman an should be banned in general. The Chinese government also announced that this material especially hurts the youth. Right so, and while we are at it, let’s remove the non-existant sexual education in Chinese schools as well.
Baidu went on: “We apologise to Internet users for any negative effects given to society.“. Absolutely right. No-one who harms society should go unpunished. A quick search at Baidu imagesearch for the word sex reveals:

You idiots! The government told You to act more moral. Don’t You understand, Your task was to remove and circumvent any censorship to inform the masses about this important topic. Now You completely failed and act even more immoral. Shame on You. Apologise doesn’t help anymore, Baidu You are a hopeless case.
A quick search at google.cn imagesearch reveals, there are still a lot of results for sex. Well done Google, this time I really like You long time. Ok, if You ever end up in China and are in need of some sexual vocabulary, I’ve created a Chinese sexual slang list. Yeah I guess I have to extend this one to a much longer one in the future, but it is a start. Feel free to add more words in the comment section.
