Ancient 6 storey restored house in Chengdu
February 29, 2008 – 4:12 pmJust next Wen Shu temple there is an are with old restored houses. One of the most impressive constructions there is this ancient 6 storey restored house. I can hardly believe that more than 100 hundred years ago there had been such tall houses in China. But then, Chengdu is always good for a surprise.
If You are interested in ancient Chinese architecture, this part of Chengdu jsut next to Wen Shu temple might be the place for You. There are also lots of small shops for buying traditional and not so traditional Chinese goods.
