Kunming highrises in midtown
Kunmings inner city especially the shopping centre has a few new and tall buildings. However, once You leave the inner part of the city the buildings become quickly smaller. The downtown area is definitely smaller ...

At Thursday the 6th I went from Hongkong to Kunming. As I wanted to save some money I didn't use Hongkong airport. Instead I used Shenzhen airport. Getting there is fairly easy, once You know how to.

Finally I arrived in Kunming. Unfortunately the Phone company didn't do it"s job correctly so i have to wait 1 or 2 more days (hopefully) until I have Internet at home. At the moment I"m in an Internet cafe, which is quite cheap. 2 yuan per hour.

My first and only day in Hongkong. After walking though some streets I decided to go on the peak and head a great view while sitting in the sunshine. 2IFC is higher than I expected.
Tomorrow I have to move on to Kunming. I definitely will visit Hongkong again.

1 more hour, then I have to go to the train that brings me to the airport.
In about 5 hours my plane starts from Europe to China. My first destination: Hongkong.
